Deaz Councilmembers,
I support Resolution 169-07 to purchase 150 acres at Punalu'u, Ninole Pond and surrounding coastal
azeas. This is NOT intended to stop development, but to purchase the property that the County currently
leases for month-to-month basis for its park facilities and to establish a minimum setback to protect the
shoreline and preserve Honu nesting sites in the area.
