Subject: Punalu'u
I fully support county purchase of 150 acres at Punalu'u as proposed in Resolution 169-'07.
Following that, I support future additions of adjacent lands to protect the two heiau on
either side of this parcel. ideally this would extend protection to include kahakai areas
along the Ka'u coast, with the trail systems, other archeological sites and endangered
species habitat.
