RESOLUTION NO. 25$ 07
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the Pana`ewa Rainforest Zoo and Gazdens needs to construct and maintain
a Butterfly exhibit for the Kamehazneha Butterflies; and
WHEREAS, the Kamahameha Butterfly is a native species; and
WHEREAS, the Kamehameha Schools Biology Class students, faculty and pazents will
volunteer to undertake the construction and maintenance of this zoo partnership project; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 5 for $2,500 will be
appropriated to the Department of Parks and Recreation to be used to support a zoo partnership
project with Kamehameha School Students who will construct and maintan an exhibit for native
Kamehameha Butterfiles; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $2,500
CREDITED TO:
010.500.5523.02 Department of Parks and Recreation, $2,500

(Butterfly Exhibit for Kamehameha Butterflies)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Director of Finance and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the
terms of this Resolution.
