Dear Ms. Goldstein:
r
Subject: Rezoning Ordinance No. 91-22, Haseko (Hawaii), Inc.
TMK: (3) 7-3-10: Portion of 27 '
It is my understanding that there is a pending time extension request regarding the
subject ordinance. Although the request was reviewed by both your office and the Planning
Commission, the request was recently forwarded to your office by the County Council to
update certain technical matters before further action is taken by the Council.
After reviewing this matter further, the applicant believes that since considerable time
has lapsed since the initial adoption of this ordinance, it would be more prudent to review all
of the conditions in their entirety and not be limited to the time extension component.
In that regard, the applicant respectfully requests that this matter be deferred for 60
days, within which the applicant intends to submit a request to amend other aspects of the
conditions.
As I have been retained by the applicant to assist with the processing of this matter, I
would appreciate your directing all questions and subsequent correspondences on this matter
to me. Thank you very much.
