Subject: Public Testimony County Council Hearing, Punalu'u Development
I am writing in regards to Punalu'u development. I live in the Ocean View Ranchos.
I am writing in support of Resolution 169-07 and want Punalu'u and its public beach park
in Kau to be protected. I want the longest undeveloped shoreline in the state protected
and preserved, utilizing the county's Public Access, Open Space, and Natural Resources
Preservation Fund.
Supposedly a survey was sent by Hamakua Councilman, Dominic Yagong, regarding the future
of Punalu'u. I would like to go on record that I have not received any survey from our
post office box, 7280, in Ocean View.
