While there was not sufficient time to poll our entire membership, the clear majority of the VCA Boazd supports this resolution. Please, remember that Punau'u is the nearest ocean access for the people of Volcano, who have used that coastal area for recreation for generations. The preservation of the cultural landscape of Punalu' u, is also a worthy goal. Punalu'u's unique natural and cultural resources deserve protection and thoughtful management for the benefit of all future keiki of this island.
