Phase II, implementation of the plan, called for the creation of a new volunteer committee called the VisionKeepers to keep the plan alive, visible, and off the shelf. Contingency relief funds from Council District 2 will be appropriated to Planning Department to be used towards the VisionKeepers to support them in their efforts to implement the EDH 2025 Community-Based Vision and Living Action Plan. In reviewing this matter, timely approval is crucial. It is therefore advantageous that approval is granted and the matter placed onto the next Council agenda for review. However, in the event this request is denied, for whatever reason, I understand the matter shall be referred to the Finance Committee for placement on its future agenda.
