RE: August 1St, 2007 -Council Agenda Request
Please schedule a presentation on the August IS` Council Agenda, entitled "Energy Self-
Sufficiency." The presentation will review the current state of the County's energy policies,
will review the recommendations made by the Task Force that began preparation of the Hawaii
Island Energy Self-Sufficiency Plan, and will discuss the need for an updated Model Energy
Code for the County.
The presentation will last approximately 75-90 minutes.
Please note that a second presentation is planned during the Committee Meetings scheduled for
August 14`h
