ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING PERMIT FEES From Council Chairperson Pete Hoffmann, dated June 19, 2007, transmitting the above bill. Habitat for Humanity Hilo and Habitat for Humanity Kona are Hawaii 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporations that work with economically disadvantaged people to provide affordable housing units in the County of Hawaii. The proposed fee exceptions for Habitat construction projects will reduce costs for the Habitat participants who will occupy these affordable homes. Penalty fees which may be assessed on Habitat projects are specifically excluded from the permit fee exemptions. Comm. 504: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE (Bill 1~8) 1983 (2005 EDITION), RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC (proposed yield ~ zt location -Kilauea Avenue Bridge Number 22-7, approaching Haihai Street) From Public Works Director Bruce McClure, dated June 27, 2007, transmitting the above bill. Notice to Lobbyists: If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawaii County Clerk within five days of becoming a lobbyist {Article 15, §2-91.3(b), Hawaii County Code}. A lobbyist means "any individual engaged for pay or other consideration who spends more than five hours in any month or $275 in any six-month period for the purpose of attempting to influence legislative or administrative action by communicating or urging others to communicate with public officials." {Article 15, §2-91.3(a)(6), Hawaii County Code}.
