aloha bob,
as you know i spoke at the council meeting, in mid may. iv
against the green harvest. my stand was not completly for the madicinal aspects to
marijuana. since green harvest began, alcohol, and many other drugs became a,~roblem for
our state. many many deaths came as a result, in my opinion. it is easy to fl-~ around and
look for pot.
it is much harder to find the ones pushing the more deadly drugs.
making the other drugs, cheaper and more abundant, and much more addictive. i~ we were to
look back 30 years, we didn't have all these problems. our teens are Boning to do
something, pot is the LEAST DEADLY, why is the state forcing our teens into drugs and
crime.
there is a better way to fighting this so called war, but, lets get our facts straight.

i was not able to attend the meeting on June 1, 2007, my son was graduating at Kea'au
high.
however, i did hear green harvest was voted down again. mahalo.
June 9, 2007, i had just returned home from town, around 10:00am.
i saw green harvest in full action. they buzzed my house several times, but, left my area
around 2pm.
the next day, June 5, 2007, i went to kilo to send off relitives at the airport. when i
got home, around 3pm, my medical marijuana was gone.
nothing but 3 slashed plants with a leaf or so, and 9 babys.
my neighbor told me it was dea.
the next day, June 6,2007, suddenly there were choppers all over my house, my son and i,
could not see them, so i went out side.
then one of them landed in my backyard, and one of the dea guys were waving me out. i
figured they were going to arrest me.
i went out, and the dea guy told me he was not going to arrest me, and that he could, but,
i should feel lucky he wasn't going to arrest me. at this time. well, at that time, i
did not feel lucky.
so i told him so. i asked him if he enjoyed harrassing sick vets.
vets that served their country, and now have cancer, not one but TWO!!
and i was amazed i was still here in this world, and that i gave credit to the medicinal
marijuana. since, it helps me tolerate my pain, and that pain meds would destroy my
liver.
i told him, I'd feel lucky, if i make it 2 more years, to watch my second son graduate''
and now he took all my pakalolo, so i will need to use pain meds, until i can get another
crop going.
again, compromising my vital organs.
the other chopper was repeling guys into the lot next to me, the dea agent i was talking
to, told me that the pot they found in the lot was mine, i told him why would i bother, if
i got a greenhouse.
i couldn't stand in the sun, i told him, so i went back into my house.
they made a big production of bringing two pot plants up, but, in my experience, could not
of grown to that size in the wild, they looked a lot like my plants, they took the day
before. after landing both choppers on my lot and deciding once and for all, that they
were not going to arrest me, they left. around llam.
i had my lunch, went out to the back of my lot to sit and think about all that had
happened, and their BACK!!
hanging in the lot next to me, both choppers busy, NOISY!!
i went to get my camera so i could time this unnessasary waist of tax payers money. one
of my neighbors came over, as well as some friends.
we watched them for at least 1/2 hour, finally they were going to bring up something. (i
really wanted to know if someone was really growing pot next to me, i didn't think there
was.) nothing!!
they pulled up two guys, dropped them on captain's drive. ~iI j~•

i figured they'd soon find out, i am not a threat, and that glenwood mold will destroy the
cameras. so, i was on my way out to a friends, when this big truck come up my driveway.
i see the dea guy I'd talked to, and a local looking guy with him. i come out, they get
out, (now i really think I'm going to be arrested) the dea agent said that he wanted to
explain why the choppers were in the lot next to me.
i was a bit shocked, why tell me? he then says, that earlier they had dropped one of
their radios, but it was not found. and i say, and your telling me this, cause in case i
find it? he says yes. and if i find this radio, what am i to do with it?
the hilo vice gave me his card. and they were gone.
on friday, after lunch, my son and i went into the lot next to ours to see if someone was
really growing over there. i found several dig spots, that looked like military shovels.
but, nothing that looked like someone was actually growing there. we crossed into 2 lots
up from mine, followed the trails left by the dea. still nothing.
on my way back to my lot, i hear a faint beep-beep. i looked back at my son, and he heard
it too. so we wait a bit, and we narrow down where the sound was coming from, move the
brush, and there it was.
when we got back to the house, it was 3pm, i called the number left by the local vice cop.
but got a message to leave a message.
which i did. monday i went to kilo, and dropped the radio at the police station. many
people have said to me, why did i bother to give it back. i want you all to know, the
reason is, i am a volunteer fire fighter, with 5-Charlie company, and we use those radios
to help in our community, with fires rescues and other things.
also, i checked with all possible people that might be growing next to me, and no one was.
so it is my opinion, the dea, waisted tax payers money, to play rambo in the jungle.
or to set me up, and make their bonus. all of this was unnecessary.
my 9th amendment right to privacy was violated. the only way the dea could of known i had
pot, was by my perscription. from the sky, and any other way, no one could just see my
plants. someone had to go look inside. so they assumed. why did my state that gave the
medicinal marijuana card, not protect me?
