Distinguished Ciry Council Members,
I am writing to you for a second time regarding the Resolution 169-07, but this time with a much different feeling.
When I had learned you all took the high road to pass this WONDERFUL bill, I was elated with joy! I thought wow.
there are still people in the world who will work for the greater good and protect our natural resources, but by your.,
recent actions I guess I was wrong. I do not understand why or how so many people could change their minds
after such a short amount of time. I guess money and greed still have the power to make people do things they
know are wrong.
I support this bill, I will for the rest of my life. I hope to visit Punalu'u again someday and bring my children, but I
guarantee I will never stay in any new structure, as it would break my heart! So here is my plea, please look
inside your heart and try to determine what is more important to your children's children? Having condos and
resorts or the natural beauty that amazingly is still in existence. You have the power at this moment in time to
preserve this.
I will be praying for you to make the correct decision.
