Dear Chairman Hoffmann and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to inform you that I have appointed Kenneth S. Obenski of Council
District 6, to the County of Hawaii Highway Safety Council. Since 1982, he has been a
principal engineer with John Fiske Brown Associates. Mr. Obenski is a member of the
National Academy of Forensic Engineers. He is also a member and past president of
Forensic Consultants Association.
Mr. Obenski states that he is not affiliated with any political party. He will serve a term
co-terminus with my own.
