I will not be able to attend the final Kona hearing, however, I woukt ike to take a moment to express my concern
that the Punulu'u area be preserved as per Resolution 169-07. My great grandhatlrer was born and raised at
Punulu'u and my genealogy is 20 generations to Moi Kalaniopu'u of Ka'u. Furthermore, I have famiry with this
same genealogy still in Ka'u (Waiohinu). When voting on this important issue, remember, "prevention is always
better then cure".
