Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 231-07, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 231-07, transmitted by Deputy Corporation Counsel Ivan M. Torigoe, via Communication
No. 455, dated May 22, 2007, transmitting a resolution accepting the dedication of 1,224 squaze feet,
more or less, (for existing drainage channel) from Maya Z. Hamburger, Trustee of The Maya Z.
Hamburger Trust, situated at Pa`au`au, District of Ka`u, County and State of Hawaii being a portion of
Tax Map Key No. (3) 9-6-022:045, to the County of Hawaii (donation of Lot 94-B).
Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter, the Council, on behalf of the County,
may accept gifts or donations of personal property.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 231-07
recommends its adoption.
