SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to Resolution 282-07 Relating to the Transfer of
Contingency Relief Funds for the 1St Annual Veterans Day Pazade
At the request of the Depaztment of Pazks and Recreation, the following is a proposed
amendment to the last "Whereas" clause in Resolution 282-07:
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be
appropriated to the Department of Pazks and Recreation, Culture and Arts
Division [as-a-grant] to provide financial assistance to the Hawaii Island
Veterans Memorial, Inc., a nonprofit 501(c)3, to be used towards the 1St Annual
Veterans Day Pazade; now, therefore,
