RESOLUTION NO. 301 0'7
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO
A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation has requsted funds to conduct
vazious projects, repairs and equipment purchases in Council District 4 as follows:
Department of Parks and Recreation Amount $
Pana`ewa Community Concert-Security 3,000
Waiakea Recreation Ctr-Boxing Equipment 1,600
Waiakeawaena Baseball Field Scoreboard 5,000
Queen Lili`uokalani Festival 5,000
Waiakea Recreation Center Boxing Area Repairs 16,000
Pana`ewa Community Center Repairs 30,000
Total 60,600
and
WHEREAS, the boxers at the Waiakea Recreation Center needs new boxing
equipment for the safety of the users; and
WHEREAS, funds are needed to provide Special Duty Officers for the Pana`ewa
Community Concert; and
WHEREAS, funds are needed for repairs to the Pana`ewa Community Center; and
WHEREAS, funds are needed to replace the boxing area roof at the Waiakea
Recreation Center; and
WHEREAS, the scoreboard at Waiakeawaena Baseball Field needs to be replaced;
and
WHEREAS, Culture and Arts Division has requsted funds to conduct the Queen
Lili`uokalani Festival; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 for $60,600 will be
appropriated to the Department of Parks & Recreation to be used towards the following:
Boxing Equipment, Pana`ewa Community Concert, Pana`ewa Community Center, the
Waiakea Recreation Boxing Roof Replacement, Scoreboard at the Waiakeawaena Baseball
Field and the Queen Lili`uokalani Festival; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Director of Finance and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with
the terms of this resolution.
