Subject: Proposed Amendment to Resolution 284-07
At the request of the Depaztment of Pazks and Recreation, attached is a proposed
amendment to Resolution 284-07, which amends the last "WHEREAS" clause as
follows:
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 5 will
be appropriated to the Department of Pazks and Recreation, Culture and
Arts Division [asst-g~arit] to~rovide financial assistance to the Hawaii
Island Veterans Memorial, Inc., a nonprofit 501(c)3, to be used towazds the
151 Annual Veterans Day Pazade; now, therefore,"
