SUBJECT: FEDERAL FUNDS AWARDED FOR SFY2008
The Executive Office on Aging has made an annual awazd for SFY2008 to the County of Hawaii,
Hawaii County Office of Aging (HCOA). The table below depicts these federal funds through the Older
Americans Act, as Amended. If not all these funds are expended by June 30, 2008, the awazd allows for
continued expenditures no later than June 30, 2010. The funds are subject to Congressional
appropriations to the Administration on Aging, which aze made and awarded on an annual basis. Future
annual awazds will be appropriated by Congress as is the usual practice with federal funds.
