SUBJECT: Resolution 282-07, Draft 2, Relating to the Transfer of Contingency Relief
Funds for the 1St Annual Veterans Day Parade
Resolution 282-07 was amended to Draft 2 via Communication No. 561.1 and adopted at the
August 22, 2007, County Council meeting.
Attached is Resolution 282-07, Drafr 2, which reflects the amendments made in the last
"Whereas" clause as follows:
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be
appropriated to the Department of Parks and Recreation, Culture and Arts
Division [as-a-t] to provide financial assistance to the Hawaii Island
Veterans Memorial, Inc., a nonprofit 501(c)3, to be used towards the 1St Annual
Veterans Day Pazade; now, therefore,
