SUBJECT: BILL N0. 74
Mood Afternoon, Mr. Chairman and Members of the Caunty Council
My name is Amy Shiroma, and I'd like to share the hope and wishes of H. Shiroma, Inc.
for a favorable decision regarding this Bili No. 74.
Mr. Jon Comes has been diligently doing all his homework so as to get this project
approved and going. I think that once you see it in fruition, you will knave what a good
thing this is. Right now the only General Excise Taxes that we are paying is generated
based on the low rental income from the two dwellings and the ginger (tower sales.
Compare this to what Mr. Comes and his tenants will be paying once this project is
approved and you can see how great the benefits will be.
Sitting through the hearings, we seem to hear or feel the "anti-anti" feelings coming
from some of you. But as I mentioned earlier, compare and sea the difference in income
and taxes generated, and think of the many employment that will be created, and thus,
more taxes being generated by this project alone.
So, please, we ask of you, to please, pass this Bill.
