SUBJECT: Discussion Relating to Campaign Contributors Doing Council Business
Aloha mail I'm writing to inquire about the propriety of prior disclosure before I vote on
council matters where the proponent contributed to my campaign. Is there a policy on
this kind of situation? I would appreciate some guidance to avoid the appearance of a
conflict of interest. I think it would be akahele for us to discuss this matter publicly to
ensure we conduct council business pono, with the utmost integrity.
