SUBJECT: Institute for Family Enrichment
Aloha mail I am writing to respectfully ask that The Institute For Family
Enrichment (TIFFE) be able to detail its organization for council members at the Sept. 18
Human Services and Economic Development Committee meeting in West Hawaii.
TIFFE offers a free Nurturing Family parenting class, and trainings are offered
throughout the year on topics such as autism, learning disabilities, and crisis prevention.
TIFFE also offers autism consulting and curriculum development; psychological
testing and evaluations; medication management; intensive home based therapy; and
multi-systems therapy.
The basic premise of TIFFE is that all human beings are worthy individuals,
capable of choosing their own paths. Intrinsic to learning and growing is to value
individuals, to respect their culture and to afford them the dignity that is their right as
human beings. Please allow ahalf--hour for this TIFFE presentation, along with the time
already requested for presentations from representatives of The Baby Steps Project and
the West Hawaii Fatherhood Initiative.
