We are transmitting for the Council's review and consideration for acceptance a copy of
the above dedication deed, along with a resolution accepting the deed.
For your information, the deed has been reviewed by the Department of Public Works
and the Planning Department and all have recommended acceptance of the dedication deed. All
subdivision improvements have been completed.
Upon acceptance of the above dedication deed, please send notification of such
acceptance to: (1) Wallace H. Gallup, Jr., 75-5586 Ololi Road, Suite 3007, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii
96740; (2) Harry Takahashi, Director of Finance, County of Hawaii; and (3) Gerald Takase,
Deputy Corporation Counsel, who will record the said deed with the Bureau of Conveyances.

DEDICATION DEED
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
THAT PETER C. DUNGATE and ANGELICA L. DUNGATE, husband and wife, whose
mailing address is P.0. Box 89, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii 96745, hereafter referred to as the
"Grantor", for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND NO/100 DOLLARS (51.00)
to them paid in hand by the COUNTY OF HAWAII, a municipal corporation, duly existing
under, pursuant to and by virtue of the laws of the State of Hawaii, whose principal place
and business and mailing address is at 25 Aupuni Street, Hilo, Hawaii 96720, hereafter
referred to as the "Grantee", the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, does hereby
dedicate and convey unto the said Grantee, its successors and assigns, for roadway
purposes, the property described in Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and by this
reference made a part hereof.
TOGETHER with all and singular the improvements, tenements, rights, easements,
privileges, hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise
appertaining and the reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders, rents, issues
and profits thereof.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same unto the Grantee, its successors and assigns,
forever.
AND the Grantor covenants with the said Grantee, its successors and assigns, that
it is lawfully seised in fee of the granted property; that said property is free and clear of
all encumbrances except as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof; that it has good right and lawful authority to sell and convey the same as
aforesaid; and that it will and its successors and assigns shall WARRANTY and DEFEND
the same unto the Grantee, its successors and assigns, forever against the claims and
demands of all persons.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the Grantor has caused this instrument to be executed as

County of Hawaii, State of Hawaii.
Being portions of:
Lot 1-A-3-A; and
Royal Patent 8214, Land Commission Award 7715, Apana 11 to Iota Kamehameha.
Beginning at the Southwesterly corner of this parcel of land, being also the Northwesterly corner
of Lot 1 and being a point on the Easterly side of Mamalahoa Highway, the coordinates of said point
of beginning referred to Government Survey Triangulation Station "MOANUTAHEA" being 13,854.17 feet
South and 7,730.78 feet West and running by azimuths measured clockwise from True South:
