RESOLUTION NO. 342` O'7
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 102-07, DRAFT 2, ADOPTING
RULES OF PROCEDURE AND ORGANIZATION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII.
WHEREAS, on April 18, 2007, the council adopted Resolution No. 102-07, Draft 2, to
amend the Rules of Procedure and Organization of the Council of the County of Hawaii
governing the affairs of the council; and
WHEREAS, the council wishes to further amend its Hiles by amending Rule No. 6,
Standing Committees, and Rule No. 28, Council Members, Staff and Allowances; and
WHEREAS, Rule No. 6 will be amended to add a Committee on Energy Sustainability
and to include the committee's description; and
WHEREAS, Rule No. 28 will be amended to make minor formatting corrections to the
numerical subsections in order to be consistent with the rest of the rules, and to correct the
District Allowance Expense (DAE) and Contingency Relief amounts to reflect the recent increase;
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
amendments to Rule No. 6, Standing Committees, and Rule No. 28, Council Members, Staff and
Allowances, are hereby adopted and incorporated as attached hereto.
