RESOLUTION NO. 346 0'7
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND
FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, a $5,000 appropriation will be used by the Kohala Community Athletic
Association (KCAA), to be administered by the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney; and
WHEREAS, KCAA is athirty-year-old volunteer driven program for their youth is a
foundation for building self-esteem, learning sportsmanship, and impacts a sense of accomplishment
for its participants in North Kohala; and
WHEREAS, KCAA offers a healthy and rewarding alternative to other less-wholesome
influences in society and in our community; and
WHEREAS, the volunteers are committed to a strong anti-drug message at all practices,
events and fundraisers; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 9 will be appropriated to the
Office of the Prosecuting Attorney for Kohala Community Athletic Association; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount be and is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC-Contingency Relief $5,000
CREDITED TO:
010.271.5271.02 Office of the Prosecuting Attorney $5,000
Prosecuting Atty OCE, Misc. Contract Service
(Kohala Community Athletic Association)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Prosecuting Attorney and the Director of Finance, and that the Director of
Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this
resolution.
