Re: Resolution 329 07 (Sign Code Enforcement)
Please consider my testimony as you make your decision on Resolution 329 07.
Of course I advocate passing this Resolution, as it requires the County to follow
and enforce existing law.
The County, all branches, all employees, everybody-should always follow the
law. Every law.
More than that, lack of enforcement of the Sign Code is having a detrimental
affect on the appearance of Kailua village and other areas. Our entire island
community can and should be beautiful, and having signs that are within the
limits of the law is one part of keeping our island lovely, keeping it a place we all
want to live, and making it a place that meets our visitors' expectations.
