Aloha Ladies and Gentlemen of the Council
My name is John F. Roney and I Eve at 401 Wainaku Ave. in Hilo , where I have ived since 1974. I first moved
to Hilo in 1960 and have lived and worked in Hamakua and Kau as well.
I have long been interested in the history of the Island and in preserving the many sites, structures, and objects
that are important to understanding the History of the island.
I believe that the Guttural Resources Commission Bill 176 is necessary for the preservation of our history in a
tangible form and I urge you to support it.
