Honorable chairman and members of this committee, I am
Mariette Von Hove

With this, I request the opportunity to discuss and bring
to a solution the current activities, practices and policies
put in effect by the board of directors of the Humane
Society.
Also I'd like to inquire about their projected budget,
their goals and summary of their accomplishments in the 27
years that they have been receiving County funds. A
review of their program and section 3-16 of the County
charter seems to be very important and necessary.
I will attend the committee meeting on February 17 at 9 a.m..
Please inform me if this issue will be on the agenda.
