County of Hawaii Council Members and Honorable Mayor,
Although I do not agree fully with the tactics employed by WalMart in their business operations, I do
AGREE that Wa1Mart provides employment and lower prices to its local community.
Especially on the Hilo side of the island, we do not have many low cost options and trips to the Kona
side to go to Costco are time consuming. Even in this rich, agricultural environment, we need food
items that aze nutritious without bankrupting us.
I AM IN SUPPORT OF GROCERY SUPER STORES IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII . I AM A
REGISTERED VOTER IN DISTRICT #5, and also SUPPOR THE GREAT WORK OF EMILY
NAOELE.
