Subject: Do not vote for Resolution 169-07
To the Hawaii County Council:
Please do not vote for Mr. Jacobson's proposed Resolution 169-07.
We have owned our home at Punalu'u for 11 years. There is a desperate need for economic revitalization of
the entire Ka'u District. The District needs planned, responsible development to bring jobs, hope and
resources to the district. This could happen with SeaMountain5's proposed resort. It will not happen with
Ka'u Preservation Group's unrealistic dream of protected parkland that is financially impossible to obtain,
backed by a fanatic and ruthless group, the majority of whose members do not even live in Ka'u.
As President of the AOAO Board of Directors of ColonyOne at Punalu'u, I ask you to vote No on Resolution
169-07.
