Subject: Resolution 169-07
I am n resident of and registered voter in Hawaii County and I urge you to support the
passage of Resolution 169-07 because it will help protect the sacred lands of Punnlu' u.
This beautiful urea should not become another gated off resort community with 'limited
to no' public access, or 'created' public areas. It is beautiful and complete as it is and
should be treasured.
There are no workable compromises. You either support saving Punnlu'u or you support
the developers---you can't save Z a beach. Please, do not be swayed by politics, money or
BS from the developers, the mayor or the handful of people who stand to benefit from
the sale. Stand up for the people of Hawaii, stand up for future generations, and stand
by your earlier decision to purchase, preserve and protect these beautiful and sacred
lands for all time.
