Subject: Resolution Transferring Contingency Relief Funds (Council District 1)
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 1 will be appropriated to the Department of
Public Works to be used towards funding the rental of two portable restrooms (one regular and
one ADA compliant portable restrooms) for downtown Honoka`a at the Raleigh Martin Pazking
Lot for aone-year period, which will expire on September 30, 2008.
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the transfer of $3,840 from the Clerk-Council Services-
Contingency Relief account to the following account and project:

RE: Resolution No. 355-07 :Regarding Transfer of Contingency Relief Funds from
District 1 Account to Department of Public Works to be expended on a One-Year Rental
of One Regular and one ADA Compliant Portable Restroom for downtown Honoka`a.
Pursuant to Section 2(g) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the County of
Hawaii, this written request is submitted with my approval that the above-referenced matter be
waived from the Finance Committee to the full Council for immediate action. In reviewing this
matter, timely approval is crucial. It is therefore advantageous that approval is granted and the
matter placed onto the next Council agenda for review. However, in the event this request is
denied, for whatever reason, I understand the matter shall be referred to the Finance Committee
for placement on its future agenda.
