My concern is not only motivated by my taxpaying status as a resident of Puna but also as a responsible pet owner. 'The chronological improvements that have been painstakingly achieved arc cucrendy in jeopacdy and this impacts ALL oC us on this beautiful island. Eventually, humans need to rise above our consistent obstacles of pettiness and bickering and begin to function as intelligent [cams that resolve the problems that will ultimately improve the quality of our lives, hence our precious Acts too. I am personally indebted to the hacd work and valuable service that has been an integral part of the Hawaii Island humane Society and I sincerely hope that this noble effort which has been enjoyed by all I3ig Island residents be allowed to continue creatively, adequately funded and unencumbered.
