RESOLUTION NO. 361 0r7
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND
FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, a $15,000 appropriation will be used by the Department of Public Works to
purchase materials to pave Puako Access road; and
WHEREAS, this will address the community's concerns and help deal with the residents that
tend to block the access roads, using them as their own private parking; and
WHEREAS, the proposed 16 foot wide asphalt access road will also provide for a fire break
and a route to a possible fire in the area for the Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 9 will be appropriated to the
Public Works to purchase materials to pave the Puako Access road; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount be and is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

010.101.5101.91 Clerk-CouncilSVC-Contingency Relief $15,000
CREDITED TO:
010.801.5801.38 Department of Public Works $15,000
Transfer to Highway Fund
(Puako Access Road Paving 020.301.5301.32)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of the Public Works and the Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
