RESOLUTION NO. 378
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPOPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) FOR THE PAHOA NEIGHBORHOOD FACILITY.
WHEREAS, there are numerous community programs and activities housed at the Pahoa
Neighborhood Facility; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation's goal is to provide clean, safe and
well-maintained facilities; and
WHEREAS, the Pahoa Neighborhood Facility is in need of 20 tables; and
WHEREAS, each of tables cost $80; and
WHEREAS, the purchase of the tables will satisfy the department's strategic plan of
providing adequate and well maintained facilities to meet the needs of the public; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 5 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation to be used for the 20 tables for the Pahoa Neighborhood
Facility; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
