Subject: Planning Committee, Bill 182, conditional support
Aloha mai Chairman Pilago and members of the Planning Committee,
I support Bill 182, provided that language is added to this bill to assure:
1) rents for all units shall remain at 80°k of median income in perpetuity,
2) the price for all units shall not exceed affordable to households earning SO°~ of median income
should these units be converted to condominiums,
3) that, in the event that the units are converted to condominiums, the resale price shall be limited to a
3% rate of return on original sales price for each unit.
