RESOLUTION NO. 382 0'7
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation Aquatics Division has requested
funding to purchase equipment for the Kawamoto Swim Stadium and the NAS Pool; and
WHEREAS, the Kawamoto Swim Stadium is in need of a surveillance system due to
continued vandalism, and an automatic pool vacuum to replace the present vacuum which is old
and often requires repairs; and
WHEREAS, the NAS Pool is in need of an automatic pool vacuum as it will replace the
manual vacuum which the custodial crew at the NAS Pool presently use; and
WHEREAS, Council District 4 contingency relief funds will be appropriated to the
Department of Parks and Recreation Aquatics Division to be used towards the purchase of a
surveillance system for the Kawamoto Swim Stadium and automatic pool vacuums for both the
Kawamoto Swim Stadium and the NAS Pool; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Director of Finance, and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the
terms of this resolution.
