RE: Proposed ordinance to amend the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as
amended), Chapter 3, Article 1, Division 6, Section 3-22, Relating to Variances.
Attached for your consideration is a bill to amend the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition,
as amended), chapter 3, article 1, division 6, section 3-22, relating to variances. This amendment
relates to an applicant's responsibilities when submitting an application for a variance from the
County's sign code.
I request that this resolution be placed on the Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations
Committee agenda for the November 6, 2007 meeting.
