RESOLUTION NO. 388 0~7
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S).
WHEREAS, the Pa`auilo Senior Center was damaged in the October 15, 2006
earthquake, and has been closed; and
WHEREAS, the Pa`auilo senior citizens has been using the Pa`auilo Community Field
Office as a temporazy location for senior activities; and
WHEREAS, the residents of the community have proposed a partnership with the
County of Hawaii to help with the repairs to the Pa`auilo Community Field Office (temporary
location) to provide for the needs of the seniors; and
WHEREAS, the needed repairs includes the purchase and installation of two toilets;
replace door, paint; construction of a cement walkway at the entrance to the center and the
bathroom, and other necessazy materials; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 1 for $1,700 will be
appropriated to the Department of Pazks and Recreation to be used for the repairs to the
temporary location of the Pa`auilo Senior Center at the Pa`auilo Community Field Office; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

CREDITED TO:
010.500.5503.39 Depaztment of Pazks and Recreation $1,700

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall folwazd a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessazy transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
