fully support a resolution to adopt the National F'..-~-~ i;diun of Countie i Statement of
Values. The adoption of spocific values relatiul; ~o .I~; sustained and c derly
development of economic opportunities for our isl;,,~ ~ <<nu its peoples ~ Jill provide a basis
for evaluating future decisions made by the Coup rmc1, our repre entative policy-
making body.
The adoption of such guidelines parallels 3' °~C ;mission wh ch is to promote
management of our resources to meet the presci,u n~ of our island's residents without
compromising the quality of life of future generalic~~ ~3I`SCA engages in a number of
activities to further its mission including hosting ~:r~,i . ational workshol funding
scholarship probrams, and sponsoring developnvxll 1 micro-cnterpri 1e loan support
program.
