SUBJECT: Resolution to World Triathlon Corporation Regarding Kona Coffee
Attached is a resolution addressing the World Triathlon Corporation's recent decision to use a
Guatemalan coffee as the "official coffee" of the Ford IronMan World Championship in Kailua-
Kona. This resolution strongly encourages the use of "100% Kona coffee" as the "official
coffee" for all future World Triathlon Corporation sponsored events in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
I estimate fifteen minutes for this matter. Please place this matter on the Council Committee
agenda of your preference for November 19, 2007.
