A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is a critical piece of life-saving
equipment for a school, office or public place; and
WHEREAS, an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) can literally make the
difference between life and death when it comes to dealing with heart related emergencies; and
WHEREAS, contingency relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to the
Department of Parks and Recreation for the purchase of an AED; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $2,000
CREDITED TO:
010.500.5513.66 Department of Parks and Recreation $2,000

(AED for Kona Pool - Konawaena High School )
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Director of Finance and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the
terms of this Resolution.
