Dear Chairman Hoffmann and Council Members:
SUBJECT: Waste Reduction Technology RFP No. 2210
Request for Executive Session
The Evaluation Committee (Committee) for the Waste Reduction Technology RFP would like to
present a progress report to the Council and answer questions on the Stage 2 design-build-
operate proposal currently being negotiated. Sections 103(D)-303(d) and 103D-303(f), HRS,
and Section 3-122-58, HAR, require that the contents of proposals be kept confidential until the
posting of the award.
Pursuant to Section 92-5(a)(8), HRS, for the purpose of discussing a matter that must be kept
confidential, the Committee respectfully requests that it be provided time to discuss the proposal
in an executive session at the Council meeting on December 5, 2007.
