Dear Mr. Yagong
I understand that there is a hearing on :March 17, 1998 regarding the County Lifeguard
situation of Hapuna Beach State Park. This issue was put on the agenda because of a
letter that was signed by a number of our Pool and Recreation attendants as well as, a
number of the County Lifeguards stationed at Hapuna Beach State Park and sent to
Councilman john Ray.
I would like to emphasize that the above referenced letter or any employees testifying at
the hearing are not representatives of the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel, Mauna Kea
Properties, or Mauna Kea Resort nor can they speak on behalf of the Hotel.
You may contact me at 880-3420 if you have any questions.
' Sincerely,
_ _ ~
