Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
In accordance with requirements of Chapter 2, Article XIII,
Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, we request
Council's approval for acceptance of bicycle equipment from the
Rotary Club of Kona.
The donation of the equipment, which includes two backracks,
two rack trunks, two taillights, two sensors, two mini pumps,
two water bottles with cages, two halogen headlights, three
vapor helmets, and three "police" decals, with an approximate
value of $279.40, is being coordinated by Ms. Tina Clothier,
President of the Rotary Club of Kona.
The equipment will be used to outfit two bicycles purchased for
our West Hawaii Community Policing Program.
