RE: Discussion on Ocean Safety
Aloha Chairman Hoffmann,
I would like to schedule a discussion by the Council on Hawaii County Fire Department,
Special Operations Ocean Safety Division, on the Operations Overview and Drowning Report
2001-2006.
I anticipate about 30 minutes for the discussion that will include a Power Point presentation by
Captain Chris Stelfox and Laurie Beers, representing Special Operations Ocean Safety. Please
agendize this discussion for the Parks & Recreation and Public Safety Committee on
December 4, 2007. I estimate approximately 25 minutes for the presentation and discussion.
