Re: Human Services and Economic Development Committee Presentation
Please allow 15-20 minutes for a presentation from representatives from the UH-
Hilo Kealoha STEM program, who will share initial results of their monitoring of
Kapoho and Champagne ponds, including mapping of open latrine and related
camping sites, fishing sites, archaeological sites and other areas of cultural
significance. Kealoha STEM participants have also created a bathymetric chart of
Champagne ponds among other things.
