<Y <br /> ~L~ 1 <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> M1'ei~N~,1~ <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 436 0'7 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO <br /> A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br /> WHEREAS, a federal mandate requires that the County of Hawaii close the existing <br /> large capacity cesspools; and <br /> WHEREAS, Ka Hale O Na Keiki is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has been <br /> receiving non-profit grants from the County of Hawaii for the past several years, which is the <br /> only preschool in the community serving preschool children from the Honoka`a town and the <br /> surrounding communities; and <br /> WHEREAS, according to the County of Hawai`i's Honoka`a Sewer Improvements <br /> District Project, the Ka Hale O Na Keiki Preschool is not pazt of this plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, Ka Hale O Na Keiki Preschool has been mandated by the Environmental <br /> Protection Agency to close their lazge capacity cesspool, and in doing so, the playground and <br /> tricycle pathway will be torn up; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 1 will be appropriated <br /> to the Department of Environmental Management to be used as a grant towards the Ka Hale O <br /> Na Keiki Preschool project; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, that <br /> the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: GENERAL <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $20,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $20,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.801.5801.31 Department of Environmental Management $20,000 <br /> Transfer to Sewer Fund <br /> (Ka Hale O Na Keiki Project) <br /> <br />
