A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO
A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, funds as been requested by community volunteers to conduct the
Hawaiian Independence Day Celebration and the Pahoa Christmas Parade; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation, Culture and Arts Division to be used to coordinate the
Hawaiian Independence Day Celebration, the Pahoa Christmas Parade and additional activities
or projects designed to perpetuate the diversity of our Island's cultural practices and traditions
sponsored through the Culture & Arts Section of Hawaii County; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $4,000
CREDITED TO:
010.500.5517.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $4,000

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED izat the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with
the terms of this resolution.
