RESOLUTION NO. 441 07
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO
A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, Waiakea Recreation Center boxing facility is in need of new boxing
equipment (boxing ring foam, canvas and padding); and
WHEREAS, Waiakea Recreation Center boxing facility is heavily used in East
Hawaii where youths and adults come to train and practice; and
WHEREAS, for the public safety, people using the boxing facility have requested
funds to purchase, replace and ship the new equipment to the Waiakea Recreation Center; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated
to the Department of Parks and Recreation to be used towards the purchase and shipping cost
of new boxing equipment at the Waiakea Recreation Center; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

CREDITED TO:
010.500.5507.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $1,500

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with
the terms of this resolution.
